Holiday.

At the moment I am visiting my boyfriend who is now studying in Munich, Germany. I am having a lovely time - especially because the weather is so great, too. At the beginning of this week we went on a little trip/holiday to the very south of Germany, near the Alps and right on the border to both Austria and Switzerland. It was lovely. We stayed at a nice guesthouse and went on biking trips every day - even biking from Germany through Austria to Switzerland. It might sound impressive, but the distances weren't all that long. Unfortunately I don't have so many pictures from the trip as most of them are on my boyfriend's camera, but I wanted to share some at least.

Apparently, Switzerland, which can barely be seen, is on the other side of the lake.

Here I was walking on the city wall of the German town we were staying in.

And it seemed as if that is also the town that Rapunzel is from!

At a small tourist shop there were some adorable shawls that I really regret not getting.

And this is the harbour. It was such a lovely place... parts of it rather reminded me of the Mediterranean instead of Germany.

Sex And The City

Today, I went to the SATC premiere, with my boyfriend, and I just love, love, loved it! The film was just great - much better than expected, everything I had hoped for, and more. From the beginning to the end I was hooked - crying, laughing, almost feeling as if I was there with the girls. My boyfriend had also gotten us tickets to the premiere, so the atmosphere was fantastic and that certainly made the whole experience even better. Plus, we got some champagne, as well.

Oh, I just can't get over how fabulous it was... It was just so great to be following what's going on in Carrie's, Miranda's, Samantha's and Charlotte's life again. And to see all the amazing clothes, and be inspired, yet again, by Carrie Bradshaw's impeccable style.
The film really is a must see, and I'm probably seeing it again as well! And I'm certainly getting it when it comes out on DVD.

Sunshine and roses

Yesterday I got a package in the post, wrapped in such a cute way with little adorable cards.

Inside was a really lovely dress I'd ordered from vforvintage.com. The fact that the packages with the things you order from them is wrapped so nicely is nearly reason enough to buy things from there! But, of course, I really love the dress I received, too. Maybe I'll be wearing it at the Sex and the City premiere?

Oh, and yesterday I also received a playsuit I'd bought on ebay, which I'm really happy with too.

Shopping list.

Since I've been buying way too many things lately, I decided to come up with a list of things to buy for when I'm going to visit my boyfriend for two weeks. I always end up buying way too much when I'm travelling, and I thought it might be a good idea to already make up my mind what I want to buy in order not to buy to much. A little list, so to speak.

1. AA tee. I love the colour of this one. And it's so versatile.

2. I don't know which one I like better out of these two Mango dresses. I've been looking for a pretty stripe dress for ages and it seems like the perfect one, so I'm definitely going to see if I can find them.

3. I also came across this pair of high waist shorts on the Mango website, which looks amazing.

4. Okay, I don't even know if I'll be buying this. It's expensive and I don't know if I can splurge that much money. It would also be the first time I'd buy a real designer bag. Previously I've been rambling about the Miu Miu bag that I really want, but I've sort of realised that I can't have it. At least not at the moment. And this Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is cheaper than the Miu Miu too. Anyway, the mytheresa internet shop has a real shop in Munich, so that's where I'll be going, at least taking a look at it. It's really lovely.

Which one looks better, black or brown? I can't decide.

Independence day

Today was my country's independence day (it's now after midnight - but the 17th it was), and it was quite nice. I hung out with a couple of friends - mainly inside - due to freezing weather. It's actually nicer being outside though, as that's where things are happening. I still had a good day, however.
Me with a couple of friends. I am wearing my national costume, but you can't see it so well
My friend Marthe and I bought some yummy liqourice because it's nice to eat sweets on this day.

Ladybird.

I haven't blogged in a while - not that it actually matters at this point since I don't think this blog has any real returning readers, yet - since I am struggling with term papers at the moment. For some reason, everytime I am completely stressed out, I neglect everything else; my flat is a complete mess, I don't go to the gym, I don't do anything else. It's really silly because it's not like I use all my time to actually work on the stuff that is stressing me out - exams, papers, whatever. Instead, most of the time I just worry, and feel distracted. It's a hopeless situation that I can't seem to find a way out of. Anyway, today, I did do something else - convincing myself that I do have some time, I went shopping. A nice refreshment! I bought:

Frill socks, which I'd wanted for quite some time now. An adorable ladybird necklace I just couldn't resist! And, bow hair clips. And it's all from H&M young, which means cheap. I love that you can get such cute, perhaps a little child-like buys from there for a very decent price.

From Vero Moda I got a white summery blouse. I had a really pretty white blouse with a peter pan collar that I loved, but somehow it's disappeared and I can't find it. I hate it when that happens!

Aaaand, some nice high-waist shorts (also from Vero Moda). I'd wanted high-waist shorts for quite some time now, so I was happy I found them!

Inherited goods and a braided hair.

Some of my favourite things I own, are in fact things that I have inherited from relatives.
A polka-dotted little shawl, cuff links (which I actually haven't found a way to wear yet, but I will, soon!), and a pretty brooch from my grandmother, as well as two necklaces from her. In the winter, I like to snug up in a blue vest that used to be my grandfather's, because it's so nice and warm and it fits me well, too. I don't really know how exactly I've obtained the Chinese jewellery box, but it somehow found its way into my possession, and needless to say, I enjoy it very much. It's spacious, and it plays a nice tune when I open it. The teaset is probably my favourite. It's perfect for a little teaparty, if I should ever have one, that is.

Today I also experimented a little on a new hair style, and in my opinion it looks very nice. Especially with the small hearts on the side of the head!

Lookbooks.

I have a book that I glue inspiring photos into. Mostly fashion related. I suppose it's sort of a lookbook, you could say. It's just too bad that I so rarely expand it since I started it a couple of years ago, and by now, it only consits of twenty pages or so. It just takes up so much time when I do decide to work on it... Nevertheless, it's really nice flicking through it because it does inspire and give me new ideas. I wish mine was better organised, too, like many other ones I've seen. Mine has no organisation whatsoever - no themes, no common feature between the pictures - nothing. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Do any of you also have a look book/inspiration book, whether it's actually in a book format, or you choose to organise it in a different way?
