One of my favourite things to do on a warm summer day is climbing up in a nice tree (if there is one in sight), with thick and comfotable branches to sit on, and just think, dream, read, write, listen to music or anything else. I had the chance to take these photographs of the beautiful scenery yesterday while going to a beach on the countryside with my mother and sister, which I thought I would share with you. I was mostly just relaxing, reading and going for an occational swim in the very cold water, but I also went for a little walk around in the area where I took these photos.I hope all of you are enjoying your week!

I suppose I don't dislike all Japanese food after all... I made this wonderfully delicious miso soup yesterday - which I modified and changed a little from the original recipe, and it turned out great. A few of you asked how the sushi that I was planning on making this weekend turned out, and the answer is pretty awful. Not only couldn't I make it stick together, but it tasted bad as well.
